INGREDIENTS :

For the covering:

4 golden apples
3 tablespoons sliced almonds
25 grams (0.88 oz) of butter

For the mass:

250 g (8.8 oz) flour
150 g (5.3 oz) of sugar
Powdered yeast (one tbsp)
80 g (2.8 oz) soft butter
1 egg

Let's make applesauce first. Peel and remove the seeds to the apples. Then we cut them and take to a pan with a little butter. Fry until soft. With the help of a fork we reduce them to mash.

Now we are going to take to a bowl all the ingredients of the dough (flour, sugar, powdered yeast, butter and egg) and mix them with the help of a spatula. It is not necessary to beat with robot or anything similar, only that everything is dissolved.

We take 2/3 parts of the dough to a circular mold of about 22 cm (8.6 inches) in diameter, silicone or aluminum greased with butter. Flatten with the spatula. On top we put a layer of applesauce (leave half to finish the cake).

Next, mix the sliced almonds with the rest of the dough and place on top of the applesauce. Finally we cover with the rest of applesauce.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius (392 F) and introduce the cake for half an hour.

As you can see it is easy to do, fast and above all it is very good.
