100% vegan chocolat ice cream

 

You can make chocolat vegan ice cream at home with cheap ingredients and a more than acceptable taste. Some non-vegans even prefer them to those of animal dairy origin.

INGREDIENTS :
  • 4 very ripe bananas
  • 50 ml of soy milk or similar (a quarter of a cup)
  • 3 or 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter (make sure it's 100% vegan, it isn't always!)

First we chop the bananas and freeze them. It is very important that they are well ripe.

When the bananas are frozen, we put them in a blender with the soy milk, the cocoa powder and the peanut butter. It's important that your blender or food processor has a lot of power because mashing frozen bananas is tricky. If you see that it costs too much, wait a few minutes for the bananas to soften.

After mixing thoroughly, you will get a surprisingly creamy ice cream, without any banana taste.

It can be consumed instantly or stored in the freezer.

As you can see, this ice cream does not contain more sugar than that provided by soy milk and cocoa powder, being therefore very light.
