Salmon all'orange belongs to that range of recipes that is usually seen in international hotels that have restaurant services. It is an attractive dish, many people like it and its preparation is very simple. In the same way that it useful for people on business trips, it can come in handy to fix a Christmas meal without spending a lot of money.

INGREDIENTS :

  • A slice of salmon per person (they also serve supreme, loins etc)
  • 1 red onion
  • Juice of a natural orange (1 cup)
  • Chive
  • Dill
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Butter
  • Mixed salad
  • 2 oranges to decorate

In a pan, pour a couple of tablespoons of butter and lightly fry the salmon slices until golden brown. We withdraw and reserve.

In the same pan, add the finely chopped or grated onion.

When the onion is transparent, add the orange juice and a pinch of salt.

We let the juice reduce slightly and we add the salmon slices again and we make them on each side for four or five minutes, constantly wetting the opposite side with the frying sauce.

Garnish with dill, chives and sprinkle with a little black pepper. In addition, to give it a little packaging, it is usually served with a salad and a couple of orange slices or with the segments scattered on the plate.
