Meals that are prepared in a porcelain cup in a matter of minutes with the help of the microwave are becoming very popular. There are all kinds of them: soups, desserts, first and even second courses. These are not meals prepared in freeze-dried sachets, but authentic creations intended for immediate, individual and, above all, ultra-fast use. In a country where lunch is delivered in a matter of minutes, the temptation to go to the nearest fast food collided with the attempts of a great majority to eat healthy but fast. The meals to the cup are a good solution that avoids entering in that 60% of the North American population that suffers from obesity.
INGREDIENTS (individual brownie):
- A quarter cup of flour (the one used to make bread)
- A quarter cup of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sunflower or corn oil
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- A pinch of salt
All the ingredients are mixed inside the cup until there are no lumps. It is taken to the microwave at maximum power, controlling after 30 seconds so that it does not burn (depending on the power of it). If one minute is not enough, 30-second batches are made until the fork or spoon remains firm.
I guess it goes without saying that the brownie does not come out of the mold since the coagulant used - oil and milk - does not give it enough firmness to do so. These cup foods are always eaten inside the cup, never unmold.
